I feel priviledged that I have the total behind-the-scenes, not-yet-released look at lightsshades’ photostream. He has some crackers lined up for you people. But some of them, like this one, I feel like he is just trying to milk from someone else’s cow… (just joking). Although a tad dark on this screen at least, I find the sky much more striking and interesting than my one. The composition is a bit awkward too, the castle is too straight and in the middle of the photo for my liking. I feel if I had a more expansive view of the scenery to the left, it would compliment the castle well. I’m a bit undecided about this one, what do you guys think?
Lightshade’s second Honfleur shot…
To be honest I never thought this photo would be a hit like it is. I thought it would be way too wide for Flickr. Other than that, it makes a great photo.
The image of a mountain looming over Lucerne by night is a striking one, something that you don’t get to see every day. The water is given that milky effect to serve the reflections perfectly. In all, a good concept and well thought out and executed.
